Any attempt to forcibly displace the Palestinians at the Arab Parliament and the international Gaza conference meeting in Egypt was rejected.
According to the Palestinian official news agency WAFA, the Arab Parliament held an extraordinary meeting in Cairo, the capital of Egypt, with the theme of "The construction of Gaza is a responsibility, the deportation of its people is a crime". In the statement made after the meeting, it was emphasized that any attempt aimed at liquidating the Palestinian cause by forcibly displacing the Palestinian people is unacceptable.
“We categorously reject attempts or efforts to displace the Palestinian people in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip,” the statement called on the United Nations Security Council (UNC) and the international community to take a stand against plans to force the Palestinian people in place.
In the statement, it was pointed out that US President Donald Trump's statements on the Palestinians forcibly displacement did not contribute to the two-state solution.
In the statement, it was requested that international and regional parliaments to support the resistance of the Palestinian people against the said plans, and the Israeli army withdrew from the Gaza Strip.
In the statement condemning the attacks carried out by the Israeli army in the occupied West Bank's Jenin, Tulkerim and refugee camps, it was warned that the Tel Aviv administration will be held responsible for the humanitarian and security problems caused by the said attacks.
International conference gathered
In the final statement of the "The Future of Peace and Stability in Gaza and the Middle East" conference held in Cairo on the same day, it was emphasized that any plan to migrate the Palestinians from the Gaza Strip was rejected.
According to the news of Al-Ahram newspaper in Egypt, the conference organized by the Egyptian Center for Thought and Strategic Studies in Cairo has ended. In the conference, which was held with the participation of international and regional relations experts with numerous strategies, many issues related to the crisis in the Gaza Strip were discussed.
In the final statement of the conference, which was announced by the Director of the Egyptian Center for Thought and Strategic Studies, Khalid Ukashe, it was emphasized that any plan for the displacement of the inhabitants in the Gaza Strip was rejected, and it was stated that this is not only illogical, irresponsible and ignores the right of the Palestinians for self-determination, but also violates international norms and laws.
In the statement, which drew attention to the fact that the plans constitute a "crime of ethnic cleansing" and a "crime against humanity", it was noted that this should be prevented, opposed and those responsible should be held accountable.
“The recent proposals for the displacement of the Gaza population should not be addressed not only from a narrow perspective on the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip, but rather from a broader perspective that reflects attempts to liquidate the Palestinian issue, which coincide entirely with the plans that Israel has been put forward on this issue for more than eighty years,” the statement said.
More than 61 thousand Palestinians, including 14 thousand missing under the rubble, were killed and 2 million people were displaced in Israel's attacks on Gaza from October 7, 2023, when a ceasefire was declared.
In the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem, more than 168 Palestinians, 168 children, have lost their lives and nearly 7 thousand people have been injured in the attacks of Israeli soldiers and Israelis who have usurped Palestinian lands since October 7, 2023.
US President Trump shared a plan to forcibly displace Palestinians and send them to regional countries such as Egypt and Jordan, which included the reconstruction of Gaza, where heavy destruction was caused by Israel's attacks.
Trump said that the Palestinians who were forcibly displaced in his plan to take over Gaza would not be granted the right to return.
